The Nuclear Education Trust relies on charitable donations to continue its work. Few issues polarise debate as much as nuclear weapons but unfortunately the issues are not widely discussed in great depth. NET exists to improve this situation, funding work with all ages to improve understanding of this vital issue. The work of the Trust in the near future will focus on informing the forthcoming Trident replacement decision by parliament.
For many, job security for those working in the nuclear weapons industry is an important factor and the Trust's previous research on the future of Barrow under different alternatives to Trident replacement, contributed to the debate. The Trust would now like to expand on this research and review how a future Defence Diversification Agency could work, taking in lessons from abroad. This could make a significant impact on the Trident replacement debate and urgently needs your support.
Please make a donation if you can. All donations, however small or large, are gratefully received.
